What We Believe

Temple Terrace Community Church is not really an “organized religion.”  We are more of a Christian Fellowship.  We welcome people of all faiths and cultural experiences to join us in Ecumenical Unity and Peace.  We respect and celebrate the Great Heritage of the the Christian Church and celebrate the church’s special days, but we do not ascribe to rigid doctrines or creeds.

We celebrate Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and look to the Bible, Church traditions, personal spiritual experience and reason as guides to our lives.

Many unique crosses designed by our children illustrate the diversity of our church and of God’s world.

We celebrate God’s Love and Mercy with confidence that through relationship with Jesus Christ and each other that we will indeed be His disciples on earth to do His good work.

Our church is a member of the International Council of Community Churches. The Mission Statement of the ICCC includes the following:

As people devoted to following Christ, we are committed to community, to treasuring diversity, to living our faith in service and love.

We invite new members to join us by Profession of Faith, through Baptism and by transfer of membership from another church.
